Washington Sundar ends the fighting innings of Odean Smith. Sundar dismissed Smith for 24. Prasidh Krishna has an outstanding match as he picked up his fourth wicket.

He got Kemar Roach lbw to pick up the 4th wicket. An outstanding spell of 9-3-12-4 at an outstanding economy of 1.33

West Indies lost wickets in the middle over, irrespective of the fightback from Shamarh Brooks and Akeal Hosein.

Captain Pooran and Jason Holder without adding much to the scoreboard leaving West Indies in more trouble. Prasidh Krishna was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets. Thakur picked up two wickets and Chahal finished his spell with 1 wicket for 45 runs.

Windies Starts well

West Indies has started the chase well with Shai Hope, and Brandon King added 32 for the first wicket. However, Prasidh Krishna dismissed Brandon King for 18 to provide India with the first breakthrough. He struck again dismissing Darren Bravo for just one run.

India reviewed the umpire’s not-out decision successfully as Darren Bravo edged the ball to Pant. West Indies 38/2.

India sets a target of 238

West Indies bowled beautifully to restrict India to 237 in 50 overs. They managed to pick up wickets in regular intervals and didn’t allow the Indian batsmen to get going.

Surya Kumar Yadav scored a brilliant 64 before Fabien Allen managed to pick up his wicket. Washington Sundar and Deepak Hooda contributed with 24 and 28 which helped India to post the total 237 on board.

Rahul’s run out on 49

KL Rahul was run out on 49 as there was a small mixup between him and Suryakumar Yadav. Washington Sundar to the crease ahead of Deepak Hooda.

Pant and Kohli falls in the same over

Pant and Kohli slowly started rebuilding the innings. However, Odean Smit dismissed both for 18 runs in the 12th over. Pant miscued a shot giving an easy catch to Holder, while Kohli edged one to Shai Hope.

Rohit Departs early

Rohit Sharma couldn’t repeat his performance from the first ODI. Kemar Roach managed a fine edge in the third over to dismiss Sharma of five runs. India lost their first which brings Virat Kohli to the crease. Can he score big today?
